Kota Tua, Jakarta

Since Tuesday was a Muslim holiday, Steph, Ellen, and I had the opportunity of exploring Old Jakarta or Kota Tua. In a nutshell, there were a ton of street vendors, a handful of photo shoots, the occasional Aussie, and several colonial landmarks worth photographing.

I didn't get the chance to photograph my meal from Steph's family Manadonese restaurant. I guess food consumption was more important at the time. All you need to know is that it was delicious. Let's be real -- a plate of spicy fish and rice is all I really need to satisfy my stomach.

Also, I would like to formally announce that I have been accepted to the MOT program at LLU! I said in my previous post that something good will happen, and God made sure that it did.

p.s. A huge thank you to everyone who has been following my trip so far. It's your support that keeps me motivated.
