Last week, I subbed the kindergarten class at Padet School. If you follow me on Instagram, you'll recognize the photo on the left. I took that before the class began -- the calm before the storm, you could say. Haha. On a serious note, the kids were incredibly adorable and sweet. But if you're wondering how it went, just imagine two students chasing each other and knocking things over around the room, the occasional student running out the door, a few students yelling things in Bahasa Indonesia, and the quiet ones diligently coloring away. That about sums it up. I had their attention for a good part of the class period, but I eventually lost them. It was fun nonetheless. But I definitely need to improve my Bahasa Indonesia for next time. They seemed to follow my instructions more when they heard their native tongue.

More exploring this weekend. Photos to come!
